California trip #1

Luke Fulton

Alright so I started off this trip by taking the 7 pm ferry of from Nanaimo to Vancouver. I was headed to Eric Lawrenuks house in North Vancouver and staying there with Graham Agassiz before we leave on Friday. On Friday morning we woke up at 9am, and met Jordie, Geoff, and Ross at the Cove bike shop at 10 am, we all tuned our bikes and I figured out my bike sponsor for next year now I will proudly be riding Cove Factory Bikes which I am super stoked on Dan Skogland is the new team manager and is on the ball I am very stoked to be working with him. Ok so once we got on the road we had to go get Harookz from surrey after we got a oil change in the blackbox van. Then we were off to the border, we got to the border got asked 50 questions by the super intimidating border guard and Ross was on it. We got over the border and then we had to stop twice in Washington at first Ross had to pickup his new video camera lens, then we had to drop Harookz off with Phil and Andy Saundbaum. After that we pinned it hard all the way through the night to LAX at 7 pm on Saturday to get Danny Brody after that we quickly grabed Kurt Sorge and headed straight to Woodward west got there at 1am and passed out in our rooms for a well deserved sleep.
The next morning(Sunday) we woke up at 9 am grabed a couple Gatorades and headed straight down to the hanger to shred. We had a very good session everyone was riding well right off the bat, I landed everything I wanted to do that day and was really stoked on it check the Vid of the clips at the bottom of the post. After riding we headed to the woodward restaurant for dinner then came back to the hotel for a fun round of drinking games with everyone then went to bed.
Monday morning we woke up a bit later all sore and tired from the day before once we all woke up we packed up and headed to breakfast at around 11 am and then headed to the hanger for another session. Ross filmed a lot on his video camera and I will have the video up asap. Today I learned a really cool trick as well a 360 1 hander to 1 foot can lander which I was pretty pumped on. After a good days shredding at Woodward again we drove into Tehachapi the town closest to Woodward ate some burritos then headed home for a good night sleep this time. there are a bunch of photos and a video below so check it out!
Have a good one!
